- Hi, just booked a quick cheap week in Chania and want to see as much of this island as I can. Im happy to drive but have heard that parking in some towns is very difficult, particularly Ag Nik and Iraklion. Any comments? And also of I may, whats the road like down to Matala from Chania area - really interested in seeing the caves there, Many thanks for any help.
