As you've had no response to your nice message, I'll have a go. The reason for the lack of response may be that by June the tourist season has been under way for a couple of months, and most hotels, bars and restaurants will long since have got the employees they need in place. Crete has a 7-month tourist season, April to the end of October, and in some areas it continues into November. If you can't change your plans so as to be able to work for the full season, perhaps you should just take your chances, go to Crete, and seek work when you get there.
