If this was a ‘face to face’ debate rather than a load of cyber twaddle, Julie and Tim would beat magog and his/her crass cohorts hands down. The problem in engaging in dialogue on the internet is that you have to occasionally interact with the type of people who simply cannot grasp the concept of decency nor have any debating skills whatsoever.
Julie has not made a single bitchy comment and her argument is clearly one of wishing to see less of the more malicious individuals who visit purely to try and cause offence. It has nothing to do with censorship just a desire for some intelligent banter that sometimes (?) might even be relevant to Crete.
It’s a no win situation as all are welcome (and in an open forum that is how it should be) but what a shame these people don’t at least try to develop some kind of interesting discussion rather than the tedious and monotonous patter that drones relentlessly on
