I am not sure if I have one or not. I suspect not since our area is not on either list. However, our contract when we purchased the land was registered with "Hellenic Republic transcription mortgages ...." where ... was the name of our village. We didn't have a mortgage so it doesn't make much sense. The document claims to "Certify the transcription below".
The information certified includes the name of the Notary, the contract number and a couple of other reference numbers. We were told that it was a "Land Registry" but I suspect it is not THE land registry being referred to in the latest reports. I would be amazed if Greece didn't have at least 85 different registries.
