Panormos is a small coastal village located 25km east of
Rethimno in a small distance from the national road.
It has 372 permanent residents and is the seat of the municipality of the same
name.
The village provides quite a few tourist facilities such as hotels, apartments,
lovely taverns and bars.
About 25km from Panormos to the mainland is the archaeological
site of ELEFTHERNA.
